Oliver

During the mid winter break from February 16 to February 24 I went to Jamaica for my vacation. It was an amazing experience and i cant wait to go back next year. I met a lot of new friends that I am very close with now. Everyone that I met there was from somewhere other than Michigan (besides Matthew), and actually a lot of people were from England! One person I found extraordinary in particular was a boy named Oliver that is 9 years old from from Sheffield, England. The week before I went on vacation Mr. Tymrak (my AP Euro teacher) was talking all about how he was from Sheffield England and how he lived there as a little boy. I thought it was just such a coincidence then but it got better! A few weeks before break we watched a video called Oliver Twist and it was about a boy named Oliver asking for some more food. I thought it was so weird and such a coincidence that I just started hoping up and down saying "Mr. Tymrak was right! The blogs do come to you!" Then I just had to get a picture with my new best friend.

After I took my picture with this amazing little boy we played a lot of ping pong and he beat me almost every single time with his wicked serve. I asked him if his house was right next to his neighbors house and he said "No. My house not linked to any other house, I have a big house compared to most people in the area." Whenever I went any where with Oliver all the employees knew his name so then I asked him how many times he has been coming to Negril, Jamaica. He said " I have been coming here since I was five and I have probably came here about 125 times. My parents love it here and this place is like a second home. " I could not believe that he was there so many times until he started introducing me to every employee on the resort. He also showed me secret rooms where only the employees are allowed to go in. I was amazed and after that I definitely believed him. What won me over with his british accent that just made my heart melt every time he talked.

He was what made my trip so fun by being so amazingly cute and charming me with his british accent.
THANK YOU OLLIE!!
